Description:
This project involved the construction of a deck above an existing garage to create an extended outdoor living area. The garage is located at the rear of a sloping allotment and has rear access via a laneway behind a shopping strip.

Due to the slope of the land, two levels of decking were utilised in order to best mediate the site topography.

The use of the garage roof presented an opportunity to expand the outdoor entertaining area, creating an elevated but functional private area for the occupants to enjoy their garden.
