This dwelling was designed as part of a larger 5-lot subdivision in Templestowe Lower. Our client purchased the property with a subdivision permit. A1 Drafting subsequently assisted the client with obtaining planning and building permits for each of the five dwellings within the development.

Located at the end of a court, the site presented many challenges in terms of the constraints that were set by the existing subdivision permit, the easement along the rear boundary and the natural site topography. The dwellings had to be carefully designed to ensure minimal adverse amenity impact on the adjoining neighbours, and yet still be economical from a construction viewpoint.

The result has been a successful development. Three of the five dwellings have been completed, with the final two dwellings currently under construction.
